8.8 million people died ‘for’ Stalin.
Of course, that’s all nonsense. A lot of them were there because they’d get shot if they didn’t go. They were just conscripts. Others joined up to fight against the Nazis who were, well, being Nazis. There were probably very few that actually were fighting for Stalin.
