I’ve had to tackle some very difficult family history problems. Fortunately, after years of work, progress has been made.

Some ancestors want to be found… others want to hide.

Finding cousins via DNA tests was very helpful to me, but without spending time doing traditional genealogy also the DNA tests would not have been so helpful.

I don’t hold out much hope of finding anyone I don’t already know. As I’ve mentioned, all four grandparents and their siblings came from parts of Russia (some now Lithuania, some Ukraine) and they don’t seem to have kept very good records of Jews in those areas. But, you never know…
