That works very well in Dallas. We have a decent size Chinese and Korean minority here and lots of Asian restaurants. If the waitress hardly speaks English and the customers are all on the same team as where the food came from (also if the soft drinks come in cans, not the fountain, not a big deal but it works as a proxy variable) - EXCELLENT.

If it’s all white yuppies - youre getting salty glazey tasteless chunks of crap.

Also, I have yet to see an assimilated Korean restaurant. They’re all for Korean customers, in my experience.

I would think Korean food would do well in Texas… they have been barbecuing for like 6,000 years & are not afraid of peppers.
