No, I mean ordinary grunts, a couple in wheelchairs, who I saw and spoke w/at a couple of different events. One, in particular, was denied entrance to a Nixon-Billy Graham love-fest in Charlotte by the “guardians of the gate”. No protesters were allowed inside at all. His being a veteran didn’t mean squat to them. Neither did my right to carry a placard criticizing Nixon, snatched out of my hands by the Secret Service (and I wasn’t even inside).
