Within in the Democratic Party, that’s hard to say. Perhaps VP Biden, and like you said, Elizabeth Warren is still seen as too inexperienced.

When it comes to the general election, D vs. R, I think most likely if Mrs. Clinton is the D candidate, she’ll walk away with it, and if Jeb Bush is her R opponent, the reason for his loss is easy to explain……the wingnuts will sit out the election.

That is a recipe for disaster: either the wingnuts sit out the election because they do not find the GOP candidate “true conservative” enough for their tastes, or they get the candidate they want, which will drive everyone but a wingnut into the arms of the Democrats.
