I found out that my sister is one of those this week. At Christmas, I walked in on my sisters having a conversation about ‘women’s issues’ and they said I probably wouldn’t want to listen. I made a joke about Trump calling Hillary ‘disgusting’ and then tried to end the conversation (I’d promised myself that I wouldn’t bring up anything political).
My sister emailed me last week to demand that I explain why I hated straight women so much. She apparently hates Hillary so badly that making any kind of connection to Hillary and other women is a slap in the face to all straight women. This was her actual argument. She was mortified to be lumped in with Hillary as a woman. She thinks Hillary should be in jail.
I finally got her to apologize today. She kind of confirmed that she had written it while drunk, but she still stands by her compete and utter hatred of Hillary.
I was going to tell her to quit watching Fox News, but I decided to quit while I was ahead.
