I’ve personally experienced 3 tornadoes that turned structures a few hundred feet away into toothpicks while leaving everything else almost entirely untouched. I’ve seen first-hand big-rig trailers thrown through the air like plastic bags. I’ve seen attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I’ve watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhuser Gate. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [small cough] tears… in… rain. Time… to die…

But I have never experienced even a minor earthquake, and can’t begin to imagine what it’s like. Honestly, I would like to experience a major earthquake, if I could do so without having to worry about buildings and bridges and what-not collapsing on top of me.
