What’s really scary to me as a millenial is how much this stuff is rising among people in my generation. We unfortunately have just as many hateful assholes as our parents and grandparents generation.

I worry, too. I’m in regular contact with millennials. Most of them seem very progressive on things like SSM, transgender issues, and even race. But I’m aware that out of ten, probably 3 or 4 are quietly seething about something like the men’s rights agenda (sic) or the small trickle of refugees arriving here, etc. Nearly all of them are stressed out over tuition, loans, and the perception that they are entitled to make over $60K upon graduation.
