I’d say the circumstances at least warrant police investigation… there were 4 students, one intruder, lethal force used, we have only the student’s word to go on. I have no problem with the idea that it should be investigated to make sure that the intruder was not really trying to retreat, etc. But my default position would be in favor of the guy defending his home.

I thought the kid was the only roommate home at the time.
