Even that broke down during the last war, when the Army lowered recruitment standards in order to have a ready supply of warm bodies to send to Iraq and Afghanistan. A lot of those kinds of jackholes got allowed in or offered service in lieu of jail time than would have otherwise.

I had heard they were letting in gang members, thought they still maintained the standard against members of hate groups.
