I don’t understand how he thought nobody would notice that he lifted two entire paragraphs verbatim without credit.

Because he’s a dishonest hack.

He built up a lot of good will after Mike Brown was murdered in Ferguson. He squandered it with his Feel The Bern bullshit and salted the earth with his hack fraud reporting for NY Daily News.

Somehow I don’t see him apologizing for plagiarizing reporting whole cloth. He’s going to claim persecution or some such shit.
