I put ‘the Expanse’ next to ‘Babylon 5’ as favourite SF series. Both have excellent characters (Carmina Drummer rocks) and. as you noted, treats ethical problems with fairness and empathy.

Great sophistication. Last night’s binge included a scene in which the ship blasts away from a spaceport while everyone is drinking from open cups of coffee, implying some cool tech.
