Who the funk gave Spain legal authority over Israel anyways?
I think it is a mistake for Israel to attorn to Spanish jurisdiction in this or any other matter.
They should be told to screw right off.

Spain, like Belgium claims “universal jurisdiction” over war crimes. It is interesting to note that while the concept they use was designed to be used on pirates, they don’t actually use it on pirates anymore, since that would require actual moral courage at times. Instead, they use such laws to harass and persecute honest citizens of decent coutries for defending themselves and their nations. Bad, bad, sick.
