OK, that at least at one time he was a far right extremist is clear (obvious antisemite, Holocaust denier, Third Reich lover). The question is then, was there a progression from this stance to Islamism, or was the latter a mask for stirring shit up?

If his goal is to be a hated societal reject, Nazi was a good early career path. After 9/11, being a jihadi was the fast track.
