They are the ones bringing the cases. They’re the ones who have sought out particular forums in the hopes of getting favorable rulings and judges, and they still keep losing.

Maybe it isn’t the judges. Maybe it isn’t the case being rigged.

Maybe, just maybe, and I’m just spitballing here, it’s that everyone except the odious SSM opponents are understanding that Equal Protection applies to everyone - not just a select few, and that denying marriage to SSM couples denies them rights afforded other married couples. It’s inherently unequal treatment.
