re: #236 calochortus

In fairness, there are jobs that need someone who is up to speed in a specific area and there may be a short supply of those in a given area. I know my neighbor’s small business was looking for an accountant recently and simply couldn’t find anyone qualified for months. They weren’t looking to hire someone on the cheap, so I think it’s just a matter of a hot economy here in the Bay Area.

Fair and true. Just think there are instances where someone doesn’t fit the exact profile to a comb and is turned down. In the past, it seems to me that alot of recent college graduates could get jobs in something that wasn’t 100% related to their field of study but the skills used in that field of study could get their feet in the door.
