Plessy was like 1/8 or 1/16 black. I have never seen a photo but I’m not surprised he looks like that. The facts were that he was sitting in the white section until someone he knew so him and ratted him out “That guy over there is colored and doesn’t belong in this section”

According to law, 1/16 was enough to make you a negro for purposes of slavery/discrimination
