Recommend you get the AppleCare … I found it of great use traveling with a PowerBook, and have it now for the iMac. Oh, and for something like CS4, I’d recommend adding at least 2GB RAM to the already included 1GB RAM. It will make the performance much smoother.

I use 3GB in my iMac, and it really helps with running the image programs (like Photoshop) when you are also running other software (such as a web browser.)
