So what’s the answer? Blue Dogs and RINOs forming a third party together? Or RINOs just taking “their” party back? With the popular support the Bachmanns and Palins are getting, I am not seeing it happening.

I just don’t know.
From what I’m seeing folks post on their FB pages, I believe their ears will be more open now than they were before, to the incendiary rhetoric. And these are the folks who will be voting. And not a single one of them would have a problem voting conservative Dem rather than Rep … if the Dems are smart, they can make some inroads. If the Reps are smart, they’ll find some smarter, more serious folks to run. If the Reps don’t - they’re gonna lose.
