OT: Have you seen the latest sad twist of the girl that fled her Muslim family claiming she needed protection from them because she converted to Christianity? The one that saw all the Christian wing-nuts all up in arms? It turns out this poor girl has been diagnosed with uterine cancer and, though just 17, has asked a court to deny her (birth) parents wishes that she get the medical care the doctors recommend because - get this - she went to a faith healing. The court has said she’s old enough to make her own decisions. So sad, not only are these wing-nuts screwing up her life, they may be killing her:
