ah ok—
there is some very fucked up shit about AA and bill white. Not so much nazi shit (that i did not know about)— other stuff.

Me personally, I don’t have an issue with AA generally because they do demonstrably help people.

I DO have an issue with them because their help is larded with very christian notions often. I also know people who were harmed by AA (groups).
AA in general is (i think) more helpful than not, and I know many people who were helped by them.
I also know people who were harmed by AA.

I think it’s the best thing going. It keeps people sober the longest. Of course, there’s no “cure” which is what I’m thinking this guy is stuck on.

It’s not supposed to be about Christianity or any religion. If you find a room like that, go find another, but keep looking. (is my advice :>)
