“Do the work”? No offense, but if the whole point of voting a Dem House majority in wasn’t to “do the work,” and I was expected to wait until 2020 to “vote the bastards out,” then why did we ever bother with talk about impeachment? Why doesn’t Nancy just call the whole thing off because she wants to focus on “bread and butter bills”? There would be more honesty in that than this continued cock tease about how if we finally make it to a pair of constantly moving goalposts, we’ll be ready to consider starting the process of impeaching the bastard.

To impeach, she needs the support of not just half of her caucus, but a large majority of it. I also see some wisdom in drawing this out. If the House impeached Trump tomorrow, the Senate GOP would kill it next week, and it would be forgotten by next November. May be better to draw it out into 2020, like the way the GOP drew out Benghazi.
