This Supreme Court seat is of supreme importance, and Republicans need to ensure that they do all they can to ensure it is filled by a conservative, or at least a moderate. But if Obama nominates a liberal, then the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee should hold a hearing and then vote that person down on a party-line vote.

Too late. You just got done saying it doesn’t matter who he nominates. Don’t try to pretend your party will actually give that person an honest look.
