When one’s requirement is survival, one does what one has to. That is the “Dark Side” much as the Talmud commands one to kill “he” that comes to kill you first.
The “Bright Side” - The Aspirational Side - is “The Shining City on a Hill”
Do what you must to survive -AND- keep the dream alive as well. Just do NOT commit nor contemplate suicide. -S-
