Except in this case there has been no such allegation. Eich simply donated to a political cause that some people didn’t like. You can argue he was on the wrong side of that issue, especially since the courts ultimately overturn Prop. 8, but to have given Prop. 8’s supporters a $1000 contribution was >not itself an act of discrimination.

You’re splitting hairs. He donated to a cause/initiative that would discriminate against people. By doing so he contributed to discrimination and, if money is indeed speech (as the supreme court says it is) he did, in fact, discriminate with that donation.
