Many findamentalists believe that the poor need to suffer without government aid so that they will turn to the church for assistance and comfort. Cruel and hateful, in my opinion. Their embrace of objectivism, an anti-christian ideology, is turning many people off of organized religion.

That’s precisely what my family believes…churches will take care of the truly needy…and when I bring up those Social Security and SSI checks they get won’t be provided by Pulpit Pimps buying a new mansion or Rolls…silence…
