ot: i’ve seen in the comments of several romney related articles today that mormons believe he is the white horse of mormon prophecy, [Link: en.wikipedia.org…] and his true intent is a mormon theocracy. is this stuff (calling romney the white horse) new or am i late?

Like the Salon piece critical of Mitt and the Mormon Church? The anti Mormon voices will get quite loud. I can assure you we will see much hyperbole and no few little white dog whistle lies about the big bad white horse.

I did not expect anyone at Salon to like Mitt, or fail to dislike him. The use of his religion as a way to undermine his credibility is acceptable (IMO) only to the extent you can show he is a bona fide fanatic, who has decided his faith comes before the law and his oath of office.
