This is sadly true. You see this mindset so much not just on Twitter but also among right wing pundits that Americans who are receiving some sort of public assistance are “moochers” and “they” are using your hard earned tax dollars. It worked with welfare in the 80’s and it works with ACA today. Just a fucking sham and people buy it.
