Gotta disagree the fact is most holocaust survivors lived because someone helped them. Anyone doing so and caught was sentenced to death. Wherever they survived, some Pole, German, Russian or Ukrainian, even a few Arabs, saved these lives. This is not to forgive the guilty and the indifferent, rather it is to try to make any discussion of the Holocaust start with remembering the righteous.

And that brings on point two- a very disproportionate number of the French Resistance were Jews and Communists. The Communists only came on board after Hitler attacked Russia.

Yes, my comment was about the poseurs, the Righteous were for real
