Even in Prague many felt it inappropriate and a dishonor to the soldiers who had found and died defeating the Nazis. Thus the tank was ultimately moved out of downtown Prague, but was moved to a military museum and repainted to its original wartime scheme, which I rather I approve of. To me, war monuments like that have a sacred status and should never be defaced.
