So RS backpedals on the 5th, you see it on the 7th at the latest (if you’re not aloof/out of touch and are actually interested in the story). That’s still three weeks to at least change a couple of phrases. I don’t believe for a second this can’t be done in today’s day and age. So, no benefit of doubt, sorry.

It’s technically possible,but there’s business and bureaucratic issues that would have made it very hard. There’s also the fact that the words spoken by Trudeau’s characters aren’t typed onto the comic the way Scott Adams of ‘Dilbert’ does at times. Trudeau writes the words by hand, and replacing them would have been more trouble than it was worth.
