I am unsure what your post had to do with mine. My point was that Israel has not given autonomy to the areas it has withdrawn from, and still exerts control over them. You apparently agree.

I said nothing about whether this control was good or bad, just that Palestine doesn’t actually have autonomy. I do feel that at this moment in time Hamas is too dangerous to be given autonomy.

Palestinian control stops at the border. It’s their shit-hole country, and is exactly as bad as they want it to be. If you think autonomy in Gaza is a bad idea, why hold it against israel that they are exerting influence there?

And the palestinians have their own democracy - they can pick from a wide array of parties, each with its own take on how best to resolve the jewish problem once and for all. Fatah recommends a slow and grinding war of attrition, low-level, with diplomatic interludes, whereas HAMAS thinks rocketry and bomb-belts the likeliest way to settle the disputed borders of Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and all other areas of Israeli settlement.
