It reminds me of that Simpson’s gag about Fox News, ‘Not racist, but #1 with racists’, but I think Trump IS a racist, AND #1 with racists.

I confess I don’t take anything Trump says or does as indicative of who he is or what he believes. I think he’s ultimately a con man, and he’s got a really good sense of what these marks want.

That scares me more than him being a racist, because I don’t know what he really wants, and there’s nobody he’s beholden to. At least with everyone else, you can tell who paid them.
