I understand why the demands of people who aren’t Straight White Christian Males for equal treatment makes SWCMs uncomfortable - acknowledging the inequality tarnishes your belief in your own value as a Self Made Man.

But, you know, this is where Sanders went astray, telling the marginalized to stay on the margins a while longer, to just be patient while we take care of these ‘economically anxious’ white people.

It makes them uncomfortable when too many people who don’t look like them move into town and start wanting the supermarkets to carry foods with funny names, or worse setting up their own groceries, so you Latinos just sit down and be quiet for a while.
