Seriously, legalize it totally or outlaw it so that girls have to take a long car ride to Canada, I don’t care. The dirty secret is I suspect most policians don’t care either but are too craven to admit it.

Reagan, Bush the Elder, and Gore all switched sides on this to stay out of trouble, but ultimately did almost nothing pro or con. I’m guessing some brave pol like Giuliani will eventually say this out loud, and like 60% of us will say “FINALLY! I agree with that and I will vote for you!”
