It’s cool to be explicilty anti-American if your’e in the GOP.

I mean, Perry is a secessionist, and he’s the GOP favorite. Someone who wanted to destroy the Union.

Many of them will proudly proclaim their adherence not to America as it is, but a fictitious one, founded by arch-Christians as an explicitly religious nation.

That isn’t the US. Their loyalty is not to the US. It, like all revolutionaries, is for what the US ‘should’ be.
