I don’t know that I’d call that bias, exactly. If someone is running for office as a Republican, they are pretty much declaring a position I’m not likely to agree with. If a person is registered GOP, then the connection is a little looser. There are lots of places that the GOP primary is the “real” election so one needs to be Republican to have a voice and in that case the party may not represent one’s opinions.

As long as you give people some benefit of the doubt, you’re probably fine. You’ve always seemed pretty open and fair here.
