I hear the sound of gun fire most days in the late afternoon and evening. There’s an outdoor gun range about a mile from my apartment (as the crow flies). There are enough trees and buildings between here and there that it’s not startling, and Teddy doesn’t seem to notice. Every once in a while there’s a louder boom. I guess someone brought their big gun, but I know next to nothing about guns.
