I think this guy is right - when I listened to that a couple more times, it sounds like Gaetz said, “I’ve got my si…helper…Nestor here…” and that “s” sound fits nicely with “significant other”. He caught himself at the last second.

If so, that’s a lot better than sl…, which is where my dirty mind was going with this.

But even so, this is likely to be a spectacular scandal, since the probability of Gaetz being a pedo and it being within the statute of limitations (if any) is rapidly approaching 100%.
