That’s perfect; the only thing I’d add would be to always ask for their name and the name of the supervisor they’re getting for you.

For some reason once you have their name, they’re less likely to leave you in Holding Limbo. They’re afraid you’ll call back and ask for the supervisor directly, and mention them. :)
