If you read the whole article, however, there are all sorts of arguments (as the headline itself claims) that Beer-Keg-Brett will help GOPer Senators. Also, this maddening-as-fuck detail:

The bifurcated campaign over the Supreme Court nomination came into focus quickly at the end of the week, as Democratic House candidates criticized Judge Kavanaugh, while their Senate counterparts treaded far more carefully.

In Nevada, Representative Jacky Rosen, a Democrat who is challenging Senator Dean Heller, released a new ad on Friday right as tensions were running highest about whether Republicans had the votes to confirm the would-be justice. But the ad trumpeted Ms. Rosen’s willingness to “work with both parties,” noted Mr. Trump had signed a veterans health care bill she had sponsored and highlighted her willingness to take on Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the House Democratic leader.

How fucking idiotic is this?! A surge in Dem turnout ought to help Senators as well, so why the fuck are they acting like they have to appeal to GOPers in order to win?? Also, the best ad Senate Dems have - even if they’re in the reddest of red states like WV - is highlighting how, if they can’t get control back, SCOTUS will be stuffed with 1%-er hacks who’ll destroy the ACA and other aspects of the social safety net.
