It’s a choice, Varek, and one I largely agree with. I don’t see disarmament as a realistic solution; America simply has too many enemies. It would be taken as a sign of weakness and we would be attacked. It likely would weaken us, too. We’re going to suffer casualties, the only question who many people die and which people die.

Seriously? America enacting gun laws would encourage its enemies? It would be a sign of weakness?

Look, I’m not a terrorist. But I guarantee you that America allowing thousands of its innocent citizens to be killed and injured so it can fetishise guns doesn’t impress them. I guarantee you that they don’t consider armed, tubby conspiracy theorists posting angry and illiterate comments on the internet as a factor at all.

Of all the justifications for the deaths of American citizens, this is the most ridiculous I’ve heard.
