LOL—seriously guys, I went to the doctor yesterday and they put me on a new 3rd med to control my blood pressure (in addition to the two I’m already taking for hypertension & diabetes). Letting these trolling, grousing, smug assholes get to you and fuck up your day is totally not worth the agita.

Your sincerity is wasted on them. But, hey, look at it like this: None of us—liberal, centrist, conservative, Christian, Muslim, Jew, atheist, whatever—is getting out of this world alive, so just point & laugh and enjoy the time you have because 50 or 100 years from now there might not be anyone alive who even remembers your name. To borrow from Omar Khayyam, “…know yourself a snowdrift in the sand, heaped for two days or three, then thawed and gone.”

And on that note, I’m going to go find something to make me smile.
