What the purpose of all this thread’s rationalizing on the gov’t’s behalf? This is the second time in three days that they stuck there foot in it. Lets their own PR dept handle it.

It’s not in defense of the gov’t that we discuss this, it’s against the irrational reaction by far too many on the right. If you blow a gasket when someone steps on your toes, what reaction is left to you when they cut off your foot?
