Apparently all the spiffy bar graphs showing loss or gain of “wealth” are of cumulative numbers, so of course they’ll tend to exaggerate the trends to the point that they’re meaningless. I gather he rounded up some IRS statistics, massaged them until they were very, very relaxed, and published.
