There are three memorials to fallen U.S. chaplains in Arlington. One from 1926, and two done in the 80s, one Protestant and one Catholic. There’s a move on now to get one put up for the Jewish chaplains. Apparently Congress is not moving their ass sufficiently fast on this—people hoped to get ‘er approved by Memorial Day.

I am now dealing with a guy online who appears to believe that the government pays for these things, as well as approving them for installation in Arlington. He also wants to know who was ‘the political party in control when the other chaplains got a monument’.

That would be Coolidge, Reagan and GHW Bush’s terms, but damned if I can figure out what his angle is here.

(This is a group that’s very pissed off about liberal Jews.)
