My grandfather liberated one of those hellholes. Before he died, he said a little about what he saw. As he talked, he got this pained, haunted look on his face like he knew he would be having to go through a week or so of sleepless nightmares. He did speak of what he saw because he thought his grandchildren should know. Never again, not while I breathe.
