Economists could spend more time in the real world especially those types. They spend so much time about their theories that they don’t care about real world application.

Happy this is what happens when Richard Mellon Scaife poured enough cash into Pitt to turn it into a right wing incubator of KKKonservative thought.

Still remember when the Pittsburgh City Council amended their anti-discrimination ordinance and Pitt refused to obey it. Pitt REFUSED to provide benefits to same sex couples. They went so far as to go to the State Legislature to get an exception to that ordinance and it was signed into law by then Governor Tom Ridge.

Which is why whenever a flunky from Pitt calls and asks for $$$ I not only tell them NO, I bluntly explain that they could take their anti-same sex bias and shove it up their ass…
