I have a UPS in my office for the computer, but not for the Internet connection which is in another room. It stays on long enough to save files and do an orderly shutdown.

Since everything but the Wife’s laptop is in my computer room I can stay up and online for about 23 minutes before having to shut down. If I put the modem on its own UPS we could probably go wireless on the laptops for a couple of hours. (yes, I love me some LGF).
