All of the statute of limitations are up. From reading some comments on the various articles at Gawker and Jezebel, it was evidently pretty common knowledge that he was a creep and an all-around asshole. But he was also a very rich, very famous performer.

Hell, look at JFK - known philanderer, and yet the press kept it hush-hush. And Cosby was in Hollyweird, where there was/is such a thing as the casting couch.

Polanski won a best director Oscar for The Pianist, btw.

Yes, I know about his Oscar. I’ve never seen the film…he is one reason. And that is hard for me, because I do tend to separate an artist from their work, but there are times when I can’t.

Humans are very complicated.

By the way, I guess I never knew that it was common knowledge Cosby was a creep and asshole. I was part of the public that was duped. Can I ask where you heard all that? I was planning on doing some reading on all this this weekend. If you have any links, I’d appreciate them.
